The need for tourism and travel in human endevour can never be over-emphasized bec
ause of the obvious contributions it has made to improve the history of modern man. Through tourism and
travel, the world has indeed become a global village.
People travel from different parts of the world to the other for one or more reasons. In this unavoidable human experience, hospitality, good relaxation and sight-seeing of natural and man-made
centers of tourist attraction become an imperative.
It is in this philosophy of life that the foundation of Rojenny Tourist/Game Village Oba in Anambra State of Nigeria was erected. The idea of this great tourist Village located at the South Eastern part of Nigeria, in a cool serene environment at Oba (about 11 Kilometer distance from Onitsha - a popular commercial city of in Africa) was
conceived by Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka.
This is great contribution to the world tourism after gathering experiences in
different parts of the world especially as a one time African Tourist
coordinator in Disney World, Los Angeles, Hawaii Coconut Park and Ocean Park in Hong Kong.
One of the wonders that one expects to see in Rojenny Tourist/Game Village is the exotic tropical atmosphere peculiar to Africa which does not in any way loose the touch of Western Modernization. The underlying peculiarity of this Tourist/Game Village hinges of the ability to harness both ancient modern world and incorporate them into a single system without the normal conflicts of ideas and beliefs. This is one of the reasons why those who have had the opportunity of visiting this Tourist Centre would not
hesitate to confess that it is a discovered meeting point between man and nature.
Rojenny Tourist/Game village is the only Tourist/Recreation Centre in the whole of Anambra State (Nigeria). It has a total land area of 8km square. It was officially opened to the public in November 1986. the major objectives being:

Worthy to note also is that Rojenny Tourist/Game Village Oba is an
affiliate member of United Nations World Tourism Organization. This Tourist/Game village is open for visitation all year round. Warm arms of hospitality has prepared a special package for the delight of Tourists who want that unique Africa experience and touch in exotic world of our extensive coconut forest.
One cannot therefore imagine having visited Nigeria or Anambra State without a stop over at Rojenny Tourist/Game Village Oba. |
